TUM is the only higher
technical educational institution.

Since its establishment in 1964 until now, it has trained about 78 387 engineers and economists.

A t TUM, studies are organized under the ESTC  The European System of Transferable Academic Credits facilitates mobility of students and young professionals in the European area with recognition of diplomas.

A t TUM the studies are organized within 9 faculties. The University offers courses in 64 specialties and specializations for the I cycle, 62 specialties for masters and 63 for doctorate, covering the needs of the national economy in preparing engineers.

The graduates of specialties in Marketing and Logistics, Business and Management, Accounting, Law,
Computer Science, Information Management are conferred the title of “Licensed”.
The graduates of the faculty of Architecture are given diplomas of integrated studies (BA and MA) and conferred the title of “Architect”.
